Brief Company History and significant dates :
- 2005 – Senior Director, Lyndon Boakes, purchases a small hardware business in Auckland. Access Joinery Supplies is born!
- 2007 – Sales Director, Marty Boakes, joins the board
- 2007 – Purchase of small business manufacturing simple bin system; Tanova concept is launched!
- 2008-2011 – Tanova Products go through intensive re-working, innovation and development process. Bins/buckets sourced from premium manufacturer in Italy.
- 2010 – Access Joinery Supplies outgrow existing premises, move to new facility.
- 2010-2012 – Access Joinery Supplies, through innovation, sales team and new catalogues etc achieves exponential growth
- 2011-2012 – Drawer system range taken on, Tanova developed to work in with this so that Tanova becomes a complete Kitchen Waste Solution.
- 2011 – Access Joinery Supplies re-brands to become Access Group Ltd
- 2012 – Access Group completes take-over of Rycam bringing on board, amongst many other products, Scilm Profiles, Zipbolt, Ryfix Connectors and Ferrari Hinges
- November 2012 – New full time marketing team in place at Access Group.
- Christmas 2012 – New Year 2013 – Access Group, having out grown 2 year old works in Maungaturoto, move to new, much larger facility in Wellsford.
- 2015 – Access Group open a distribution facility in Christchurch to enable faster delivery and even better service to our fantastic South Island customers.
- 2016 – A full time role is created to manage relationships with designers and architects.
We now have a robust team of 20 full time employees. Our reps cover every area of New Zealand on a regular basis.
